Matthew Smith

Dr Matthew Smith is a Senior Fellow in Public History at Royal Holloway, University of London, and was Curator of Egham Museum between 2012 and 2016.

Matthew is currently leading Royal Holloway’s Heritage Lottery Fund supported Citizens project which helps school and college students better understand how the relationship between the citizen and the state has developed in Britain over the last 800 years.
