Behind the Glass is an opportunity to dive deeper into the Egham Museum collection and the stories it holds. Hosted by the Curatorial Team, these events will be livestreamed on Facebook and Youtube and will feature special guests, short films, oral histories and items not on permanent display.
The First and Second World War had a huge impact which was felt across the world. Many local people served in the armed forces or in new wartime jobs and their friends, family and neighbours stepped in and came together to support the war effort. This event will explore the local stories behind these international events.
These events are free, but donations are welcomed to support our ongoing work. You can find out more at here.
