Charles Nash Verdict

Nash was found Not Guilty. The discrepancies in the evidence were not explained nor investigated.

 

Charles Nash was also charged the same day for unlawfully obtaining a coat, from James Swainson, by false pretences and found Not Guilty.

He was subsequently tried again on a third charge of unlawfully obtaining goods from a Mr. Bull, by false pretences, but the Jury were unable to agree and were discharged, without giving any verdict.
