Egham Festival of Music 2020
Join us on 21st June 2020 for the return of the ‘Egham Festival of Music’ as part of the international movement of #MakeMusicDay.
Hosted by Egham Museum, in association with Tiger John Promotions, we will be bringing the best of local talent straight to your living room!
Make Music Day is a grassroots celebration where communities, musicians, venues and promoters collaborate to put on free music events in their local area. Started in France in 1982 as Fête de la Musique, Make Music Day now takes place in 125 countries on the summer solstice. On 21 June every year thousands of events take place across the globe in what becomes the world’s largest DIY music festival.
2019 was the first year Egham Town took part in the celebration, with Egham Museum hosting ‘The Sessions’, alongside musicial performances across the town, including The Crown Pub, the United Church and St John’s Church. This year we delighted to be hosting once again, but this time, digitally.
