The Egham Oddities Podcast has landed!

We are excited to bring you our very first ‘Egham Oddities’ podcast.

The Egham Museum is home to many wonderful items that give us great insight into our local area.  But like a lot of other small museums, there are also elements of the collection that are quirky and on first glance, odd.  Hosted by Steven Franklin and edited by Charlie Parkin, each month our panellists, Curator, Sarah Corn, Assistant Curator, Amy Stone, along with a guest, explore an ‘oddity’ from the collection.

While we poke fun at ourselves, we also take a serious look at why some objects hold such meaning and to who, as well as discussing some of the challenges small museums face.  So if you like talking about museum objects and some of the more curious items that lurk within collections, this is the podcast for you!
