Hyde’s Leather Shop

Frederick Hyde was a Saddler and Harness Maker who set up his shop at 178 High Street, Egham (now Big Fry Fish and Chips https://eghammuseum.org/stories-from-egham-high-street-big-fry-fish-chips/ ) in 1911. Frederick Hyde’s son Ronald took over the family business in 1950 and continued selling leather goods until 1987.
