Performers
Handbell Ringers
The St John’s Church Handbell Ringers meet the first and third Saturdays each month from September and June. You can also find them performing at the annual Church Service. Handbell ringing is open to anyone over the age of 8, and you don’t need to read music, so why not head over to St John’s Church to find out more and give it a go!
The Rock Project
The Rock Project is the UK & Ireland’s premier school for children’s contemporary music tuition. They offer group lessons in electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals and the opportunity for young people aged 7-18 years old to put their musical skills into practice by performing regularly each week as part of a band. Come over to The Lit Hall to get involved.
Egham Choral Society
Make the most of this great opportunity to try out singing in a choir! Discover the uplifting feeling of singing in a group and join the Egham Choral Society’s fun warm-up routine and improve your vocal skills. Music will range from madrigals to Les Misérables. No booking required, just head on over to the United Church of Egham.
Royal Holloway’s Ballroom Dancers
RHUL’s Ballroom & Latin Dancesport team competes in university competitions all over the UK throughout the year and often come home with the prizes! They hold both social lessons and competition lessons so there is something for everyone! So if you want to have a bit of fun and learn those dances seen on Strictly Come Dancing, come along to The Lit Hall and try it out whilst listening to some great music!
