Margaret Stewart
A retired Librarian, Margaret joined the Museum in 2017 as Tiki-Toki Timeline Coordinator and subsequently also joined the team of stewards. With a particular interest in the history of education and literacy, she also loves researching and writing about some of the forgotten episodes in local history. She has developed two exhibitions: “Educating Egham,” about local schools, and “Location, Location, Location,” exploring the use of the area as a location for films and TV. She contributed to “Our Changing High Street” and “Women: Wives, Workers & War” projects as well as taking part in 2018’s suffrage plays.
