Women of the High Street

Here at Egham Museum we are keen to shine a light on women and their roles throughout history.

As part of our 2018 ‘Suffrage in Egham’ project and a follow-on project looking at women’s roles during the First World War, we investigate the 1911 census to find out more about women who lived and worked in Egham’s High Street.
